Every December, Miami transforms into the global capital of contemporary art. For one intense week, the city fills with collectors, gallerists, artists, curators, and culture enthusiasts from over 40 countries. The 2026 edition runs December 4 through 6 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The broader event, Miami Art Week, stretches across the entire week with satellite fairs, gallery openings, brand activations, pop-up dinners, and parties happening in every corner of the city.

Art Basel is the world's premier modern and contemporary art fair. Founded in Basel, Switzerland in 1970, it expanded to Miami Beach in 2002 and later to Hong Kong. The Miami Beach edition has become the most anticipated cultural event in the Western Hemisphere each year.
Over 280 leading galleries from more than 40 countries, along with thousands of artists ranging from emerging talents to blue-chip names, and 80,000+ visitors across the three-day run. The art on display spans paintings, sculptures, installations, photography, film, and digital works.
